Donations & Health Charity Status
GPRA is a not-for-profit organisation and has been recently listed as a ‘Health Charity’ which positions it as the only charitable organisation dedicated to supporting General Practice Registrars. With our newlyestablished “Research & Education Fund”, GPRA has renewed focus in supporting education and research in the industry and welcome donations from all benefactors. All Donations over $2 to GPRA are tax deductible.
The GPRA sponsorship program is our foundation for establishing strategic and mutually-beneficial, long-term relationships with appropriate organisations. Experience shows us that this approach is, by all measures, a superior one compared with one-off or opportunistic activities – alternatives which, by contrast, have short time horizons, little or no strategic focus and are simply ‘hard work’ for both parties, which typically do not maximise the value from the opportunity that long-term relationships engender.

Sponsorship Packages
GPRA are flexible in the structuring of our sponsorship packages and are
happy to put together traditional (general) sponsorship packages tailored to
your needs and budget. Generic sponsorship packages include Platinum,
Gold, Silver and Bronze and the attributes of these packages are outlined
in our Sponsorship Matrix.
GPRA are also keen to develop innovative packages that are project-based.
These projects will typically enhance and improve Registrar experience,
and so positively affect the long-term sustainability of our primary healthcare
sector. In this situation, you might already have a project that you’d like to
do that involves Registrars and then we would facilitate this. Alternatively,
we might identify a need within the sector and find a solution that aligns
with your values and organisational objectives. We would then jointly work
in partnership to bring the idea and project to market.
Levels of Sponsorship
For detail on the range of available sponsorship packages, please refer
to the Sponsorship Matrix for each activity. This doesn’t include Platinum
exclusive event sponsorships which are by negotiation. Each of the
sponsorship categories listed below represent different opportunities for
communicating your commitment to assisting the growth in knowledge
(both professional and personal) of young GPs.

In addition, GPRA offers a Continuing Sponsor relationship at the Gold and
