GPSN
General Practice Students Network
Are you a medical student interested in a general practice career? GPRA is with you on your journey as a student through the General Practice Students Network (GPSN).
Run by medical students, for medical students
GSPN is a national organisation, run by students for students and we use a peer-to-peer marketing model. We aim to encourage medical students to see the benefits of a career in general practice and promote it as a specialty of choice.
GP placement for medical students with the GPSN First Wave Scholarship Program
The GPSN First Wave Scholarship Program offers an opportunity for medical students in their first or second year to experience general practice under the guidance of a dedicated general practice supervisor. Find out more about the GPSN First Wave Scholarship Program.
GPSN clubs at medical universities across Australia
All 21 medical schools in Australia have active GPSN clubs. We offer programs that expose medical students to the diversity of a general practice career. You can take advantage of clinical skill sessions, social events, seminars and conferences, peer support and networking opportunities.

GPSN is administered by GPRA and receives support via a funding grant from General Practice Education and Training (GPET).
