GPSN

GPSN is a national, student-run organisation using a peer-to-peer marketing model to promote general practice to medical students.

There are active GPSN clubs in medical schools at 20 university campuses across Australia. Since the network was established in 2007, GPSN membership has grown rapidly to over 5,000 members.

GPSN strives to:

  • Empower medical students to make informed decisions in choosing their future vocation.

  • Seek to correct misconceptions about general practice.

  • Promote the benefits of general practice as a career.

  • Champion the importance of general practice’s role in the overall medical landscape.
