Managing patients with diabetes has become the biggest growth industry in the world. It was once believed to be a specialist disease. In 2011 we know diabetes is not a specialist disease but is a
team disease with the GP ideally positioned to co-ordinate the uninterrupted care of patients from diagnosis to death, with minimization of complications and events.
Healthscope Medical Centres invites GPRA members to participate in their upcoming educational series entitled “Changing How We Manage Diabetes In General Practice”. This series aims to help GP’s become more confident and consistent in their management of their diabetes patients.
