Best practice guidelines to support practitioners following job related trauma

By providing support to successfully manage stress, as well as providing practical coping strategies and survival tips to prevent burn out and to prevent crises from developing, the Bush Support Service aims to contribute to the retention and well-being of health practitioners and their families in rural and remote communities.

The service is delivered by CRANAplus which is a membership organisation for health professionals, care providers, managers, academics, educators or students interested in the remote or isolated health environment. The Department of Health & Ageing assists CRANAplus with funding.
